All About Me

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am the human behind Ashley's Paws and Claws. Ever since I was a small child, I had a passion for animals. My professional experience working with animals began over 16 years ago. I have experience working in a kennel environment and grooming salon in addition to being a dog obedience instructor. I am privileged to live with 5 dogs named Molly, Tinkerbell, Lucy, Pretzel, and Tater Tot. I also have a parrot named Quinn.

 

I treat each and every one of the pets that I work with like I treat my own pets. I want them to feel safe and loved while turning procedures such as nail trimmings into a positive experience. I strive to ensure that both my human clients and their 4 legged companions feel like part of my furry family.

I pride myself in treating every pet as an individual. I will never judge your pet based on age, size, breed, temperament, or previous negative experiences. If your dog has anxiety, fear, or sensitivities towards nail trims in particular, I will create a personalized plan with you based on your dog's needs. Using my experience with both dog training and grooming, I can help both you and your dog work towards a less stressful and more positive experience. My goal is to make your pet enjoy getting a "pawdicure!"
